I received this message from the Colorado Department of Homeland Security Emergency Management announcing the appointment of Drew Peterson as the IMU Supervisor:

“Drew Petersen has accepted the Incident Management Unit Supervisor position within our Field Operations team which will manage the AUXC program. Drew lives in Crested Butte with his cat Luna. He lives to ski, hike, and bake. He also enjoys reading and exploring the world of interconnected electronics through the design and implementation of robotic and household systems. Drew will begin his transition into his new permanent position over the next few weeks with his official start date being September 1st.”

One of the duties of the IMU Supervisor is management of the Auxiliary Communication (AUXC) program in Colorado,  The AUXC program has been shuffled from one person to another in the last couple of years, and we look forward to moving forward under a new supervisor, especially one from the Western Slope!  Once he gets his feet on the ground, please welcome Drew and do everything possible to help him grow and improve Auxiliary Communications.
