Emergency Communications Training

Emergency organizations in the Mesa County area depend on trained, prepared amateur radio operators!
Communicators in every group need to brush up on basic skills and learn new ones.  Please join us the fourth Saturday of every other month.  Our goal is to tap into the collective knowledge of the ham community to leverage our knowledge base and improve all of these organizations.  Some proposed topics include:

• Digital modes for EmComm (WinLink/WinMor, DMR, packet modes, etc.)
• Designing and building a Go Kit and 72-hour bag
• Creating your own antennas in the field
• Operating practices for field communications
• Interoperability with other agencies and government entities
• Bring your Ideas!
