Save the Date – WCARC Hamfest and Swapmeet

It seems like it’s far away, but the WCARC Hamfest and Swapmeet is coming up on August 12th at our usual meeting location (First Christian Church).  While this is sponsored by and run by the Club, it’s a great opportunity to put forward our emergency and public service capabilities.  We will have an ARES/AuxComm booth (or at least a table), and I would like to be able to provide a presentation/training session related to EmComm.  I would welcome ideas for the display – go-kits, portable radio/antenna setups, Vara FM/VaraC, etc.  If we had a break-out session, think about a good topic that would not only interest EmComm geeks, but the general ham population as well.  I’ll try to get some ARES/AuxComm folks over from the front range to help out.  Should be fun! – Chip NØWKR
