July 13/14 – Retriever Hunt Club Test Comms

Last year, we provided emergency comms for the Western Slope Retriever Hunt Club’s hunt test up on the Grand Mesa.  This year, they’ve invited us again, and we’re inviting ARES members to join us for this amazing event.  Last year brought 100+ people and 200 dogs to chase down ducks on land and in the lakes.  If you’re a dog lover, treat yourself to this activity on July 13th and 14th and watch these amazing dogs (and their trainers) as they’re put through their paces in some of the most spectacular scenery in Western Colorado.  We’ll need 8-12 hams to cover the event up on the Mesa, and a couple down in the valley to stand by to relay emergency calls up to the team at the event.  Contact Chip NØWKR for more information.
