Colorado ARES and the ARRL Colorado Section hold state-wide nets on a variety of repeaters and frequencies, including the WEØFUN Fun Machine repeater system, the 525 Alpha and the Colorado Connection system (a full listing can be found here).

In the past, Mesa County ARES members could check into the Colorado ARES statewide net at 2000 on Sunday evenings on the Colorado Connection repeater at 145.355 MHz.  For the last couple of months, the Colorado Connection repeater has been down, so the only way to check in was through one of the digital options.

Now, through the hard work and assistance from Keri N2KNK and Bob KEØOHF, the Sunday net is being linked to the WestCO system until the ColCon repeater comes back on line.  All MCARES members are encouraged to check in with your R9D4 affiliation.  Let’s make sure they know how active we are on the Western Slope.

And be sure to thank Keri and Bob for taking the time to link us in on WestCO!
